ONE WORD…RESILIENT
Hello, I’m Ashli. If I had to describe myself with one word, it would be resilient. Life has taken me down some difficult roads, and I’ve made mistakes that brought me here, but I refuse to let those mistakes define who I am or who I can become. Every day I am working on rebuilding myself from the inside out and creating a better future than the one I left behind.
I am serving time on a drug-related case and have chosen to use this experience as an opportunity for growth rather than defeat. My goal is to learn from the past, strengthen my mindset, and make sure I never return to the lifestyle that led me here. Personal growth, accountability, and self-improvement have become very important parts of my life.
Unfortunately, I am doing this time largely on my own. Several of the people closest to me have passed away while I have been incarcerated, which has made the journey even more difficult. Because of that, I would love to build genuine friendships with positive people who can offer encouragement, conversation, and support. I hope to form connections that will continue long after my release.
I enjoy simple things that make life better. I love cats, tacos, good conversations, and people who can find humor even during difficult times. I believe kindness goes a long way, and I genuinely appreciate anyone willing to take the time to get to know me for who I am today instead of judging me only by my past.
