This page explains how third parties may submit information for an incarcerated individual to be considered for inclusion on the Women Behind Bars platform.

Who This Submission Process Is For

This submission process is intended for:

  • Friends
  • Authorized contacts
  • Incarcerated individuals who require assistance completing the submission process
Participation is voluntary. All submissions must be accurate and complete.

How the Review Process Works

To help maintain accuracy and compliance, submissions undergo a basic review process that may include:
  • Confirmation that the individual is currently incarcerated
  • Review of submitted information for completeness and consistency
  • Confirmation that the submission meets platform guidelines

How to Submit an Application

Step 2 — Complete the Application

The application may be completed by:

  • The incarcerated individual, or
  • An authorized third party assisting with the submission

Please write clearly and provide all requested information.

Step 3 — Mail the Completed Application
